Our Love
Story
Spring is the season when nature erupts with joy and passion. When nature gets brighter and full of colours. Spring is also when Günes and Michel met for the first time in Lausanne. What followed was a series of unforgetable beautiful dates.

On one particular evening, the newly couple was in a dance-club in Fribourg. "Let's go home."said Michel. "I love you too!" exclaimed Günes, her ears full of music. A fortunate confusion though, because who knows when either of them would have found the courage to utter these simple yet powerful words. Misunderstanding can be wonderful sometimes!
This blissful honeymoon phase ended however when their professional lives decided to put their love to the test. Günes moved to Geneva, to the westernmost corner of Switzerland, while Michel settled in Sierre, a tiny town in between the mighty Alps. Still, their love continued to grow.
Was it because they finally got tired of having their love life in limbo? Or maybe because they adopted a tiny cat and felt like sharing the responsibility of caring for it? Either way, in 2024, they decided to move in together. Vevey was an obvious choice—right between Geneva and Sierre, next to the lake, with an easygoing, laid-back atmosphere.
Shortly after, Michel proposed to Günes on the terrace of the Grand Hotel in Le Pont, a location chosen so that their love get binded with Vallée de Joux. The engagement was celebrated with family on the shores of the Bosphorus in Istanbul. A marvelous celebration, with music, dance and a big (and completely random) firework above the water.
And now they want to reaffirm and share their deep bond of love with family and friends. How beautiful!

What's the dress code?Formal or Black-Tie Optional We invite you to dress elegantly for the occasion! A suit and tie or a tuxedo for men, and a long or cocktail dress for women would be perfect. A little note about the church & weather: The ceremony will take place in a church, so we kindly ask guests to bring a shawl, scarf, or jacket to cover their shoulders if needed. While it's June, the venue is at a higher altitude, and temperatures are expected to be around 13°C on average—but in the evening, it could drop even lower. The celebration will be indoors, but as the apéritif will be held outside, we recommend bringing a light layer to stay comfortable.
